Over Thanksgiving break, my boyfriend and I traveled from Orange County to the Bay area. We spent a day in San Jose, a day in San Francisco, and half a day in Santa Cruz. I took a lot of photographs on my iPhone and posted them on my instagram: @picturesomething over the whole weekend

I am proud to show my latest highlight video for Matthew and Kathryn's wedding that took place in North Dakota on June 2, 2013. I met Kathryn on tumblr.com ages ago and we instantly bonded over photography and she was in a relationship with a guy she also met online.
Her and I met for a photoshoot in San Diego a couple years ago to simply hang out at the beach and take photos of each other. A year ago in October, Kat and Matt were visiting San Diego and we arranged a photoshoot again but this time, I took photos of the two of them and she took photos of my boyfriend Chris and I. It was a pleasure to finally meet Matt and see the Love birds together. It was a great day that will be cherished for years to come with photos to remember it by.
By the time they got married this summer, they had been with each other for over 3 years and Kathryn had uprooted her life in Las Vegas, NV to be close to him. These two are the cutest and clearly have unconditional Love for one another and those around them. I am so thankful to have been apart of their wedding day.

I am really excited to share these photos with you all! Makenzie is the 8 month old daughter of one of my best and oldest friends. Sashka and I met in pre-school and have kept in touch these past 20 years! We are only 10 days apart and have referred to one another as twiny for quite some time now. I was blessed to be part of her wedding back in 2010 in Oregon. Now Sashka, Larry, and Makenzie live in Oregon but are looking to move for grad school. I selfishly pray they move to SoCal so I can be part of my little niece's life and be closer to Sashka again. Alright, enough talk, please enjoy these:

I had the pleasure of photographing my friend Julie aka Poison IV (derby name) aka Sc Amore before she moved to New Orleans. She's a wonderful human being and I am going to miss her presence in my life.

I absolutely Loved documenting this wedding. Jocelyn and I met in 2009 through a mutual friend and we saw each other here and there, then we hung out in Kenya a couple times. Jocelyn is a bit of a nomad, free spirit, go with the wind kind of gal and I Love that about her. She's traveled the world and after a few years of school and interning internationally and working, she landed in Baltimore, MD where she grew up and began dating a friend (Patrick) that she knew in high school. They knew pretty quick that they were meant to be and so they got married on June 8th. So by simply responding to a facebook status asking about photographers in the Baltimore area, I got a plane ticket to come out and shoot her wedding! I feel very blessed for the experience of going to a new place, seeing a few friends who I hadn't seen in a couple years, and doing what I Love. The venue was Jocelyn's mom's backyard. The weather was a tricky one. It rained the day before the wedding and the morning of. But the forecast said it would clear up and sure enough, God opened the skies and it felt about 80 degrees during the ceremony! I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location and the bridal party and guests were lovely. Okay enough talking. Please enjoy these photos!
