My name is Sarah Jean but you can call me SJ. My pronouns are they/her. I have been documenting life with cameras for almost two decades.

Being an out queer photographer has shifted my focus in more recent years to work with lgbtqia+ clients. I’m passionate about making queer couples feel seen, heard, and loved when in front of my camera and having a fruity cocktail with me. I know how difficult it can be to navigate the wedding industry as a LGBTQ+ client not knowing who is affirming and who won’t make you try to fit in the binary. I provide a safe space for my couples to be themselves and love authentically. Being able to capture that pure love is magical.

My approach is to capture authentic moments with minimal posing, letting the beauty of real life unfold organically. If you value the art of candid/documentary photography, I would love to work with you.
